The following Terms of Use are entered into by and between You and Face Yoga Method LLC (“Company”, “we”, or “us”).
The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, these “Terms of Use”), governs your access to and use of www.faceyogamethodstudio.com, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through any and all of www.faceyogamethodstudio.com related pages (the "Website"), whether as a guest or a registered user.
Please read the Terms of Use carefully before you start to use the Website. By using the Website or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Use including the agreements incorporated by reference herein, you must not access or use the Website.
This Website is offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the Company and meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Website.
Changes To the Terms Of Use
 
We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time at our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access to and use of the Website thereafter. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page from time to time so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
Payment

The Super Early Bird price for 2025 is $4,500 or as low as eight (8) monthly installments of $625 and is available to those who enroll between now and February 15, 2025. The Early Bird price for 2025 is $4,900 or as low as six (6) monthly installments of $900 and is available to those who enroll between February 16, 2025 and April 13, 2025. Those enrolling between April 14 - April 30, 2025 are directed to the Regular Price of $5,500 or four (4) monthly installments of $1,500. If you enroll once the promotion period is over, there will be no extensions.

When you choose the installments plan, payments will be charged on the same date every month. For example if you purchase on December 15th, then your payments will be automatically taken on January 15th, February 15th, and so on.

If you’re unable to make a payment please let us know at tcc@faceyogamethod.com before the due date as missed payments can affect your eligibility to continue in the course. Defaulted payments will result in immediate revocation from the Teacher Training course, revocation from the Teacher Certification Community group, and you will no longer receive relevant emails concerning the course.

Failure to comply with agreed-upon monthly payment deadlines will result in immediate revocation from the Teacher Training course, revocation from the Teacher Certification Community group, and you will no longer receive relevant emails concerning the course.
 
Note that after three (3) consecutive months of failed payments, students must pay for the remaining Course balance in-full before regaining access to the Course material(s). 

If the billing address you provided us is in the United States, all payments will be charged and made in U.S. dollars. If the billing address you provided us is outside the United States or any of its possessions or territories, all payments will be charged and made in your local currency. The exchange rate will be dependent on your local bank's rate and may or may not include additional fees subject to your bank's conditions.
These charges are for the Teacher Certification Course only. This will not give you access to any other of our products nor is the fee transferrable for any reason.
 
Refunds

Once payment has been made we have a 15-day refund policy in place, from the date of purchase. If on a one-time payment plan, the entirety of the sum will be refunded. If on an installment plan, the entirety of the first month’s sum will be refunded. Under no circumstances will a refund be granted after the 15-day period from the date of initial payment. Once refunded, all access to both the Teacher Training website and relevant groups will be revoked. These charges are for the Teacher Certification Course only. 
In the unforeseen event that the Face Yoga Method cancels a Course, all payments will be refunded in full.
If a currency-converted payment is refunded, the amount initially received is converted back to the presentment currency at the current rate. This fluctuates on a daily basis, so the rate used when a charge is converted often differs from the rate used when a refund occurs. The returned amount once converted into your currency can be less—or more—than the payment provided.
Ultimately, you as a customer, are always refunded the exact amount you paid and in the currency you paid in.  
 
Course Commencement

During the registration process for Registered Users, you will need to create an account on our new platform using the email address you used to enroll as your unique username (“Username”). This account will also include a password (“Password”) and possibly certain additional information that will assist in authenticating your identity when you log in in the future (“Unique Identifiers”). When creating your account, you must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information. Each Username and corresponding Password can be used by only one Registered User, and sharing your access credentials with others (especially if they are using your credentials to access our proprietary Content (as defined below) is a material breach of this Agreement. You are solely responsible for the confidentiality and use of your Username, Password, and Unique Identifiers, as well as for any use, misuse, or communications entered through the Websites using one or more of them. You will promptly inform us of any need to deactivate a Password or Username, or change any Unique Identifier. We reserve the right to delete or change your Password, Username, or Unique Identifier at any time and for any reason and shall have no liability to you for any loss or damage caused by such action.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or cancel orders if we feel that these conditions are not met and there is evidence of shared use.

There will be several assignments to complete for each of the Modules, all of which will be given a deadline for submission. The deadlines are there to keep you on track with your learning. We want to make sure that once you begin you keep the momentum. The deadlines will also allow time for Fumiko and/or a TCC Coach to provide personal feedback. Obligatory Assignments that have not been completed by the specified final date will delay your ability to complete the Final Assessment* with your Coach and thus, we won’t be able to ensure you will be certified with the current class. I.e. your Face Yoga Method certification could be delayed until the next certification period.

*All students are given two Courses to complete their Assignments and take their Final Assessment to become a Certified Face Yoga Method Teacher. If you have decided you would like to finish the Course at a later time, that is fine so long as your payments stay current. Under those circumstances, the Course material will not be revoked. (Read below for associated terms and fees related to a certification postponement).
Course Access and Completion

All May 2025 students are given access to the Course until December 31, 2026. Final Assessments are scheduled for the beginning of October2025. All Obligatory Assignments need to be completed, by the specified deadlines, in order to schedule a Final Assessment with a TCC Coach. Please note that the course must be paid in full in order to schedule a Final Assessment with a TCC Coach. Failure to complete some or all of the Assignments by the specified final date will result in a Final Assessment Postponement. To be able to proceed with this option, students are required to pay a flat fee of $500. Those postponing their Final Assessment and paying for this one-time payment fee will have access to the course for an additional year, until December 31, 2027. Important: Please note that students are allowed to postpone their Final Assessment only once. If they wish to postpone a second time, they will be required to enroll in the course again and pay the entire course fees once more.

In the event that a student fails the Final Assessment, they are prohibited from teaching Face Yoga to others, advertising any classes, or claiming certification from the Face Yoga Method LLC.
Passing the Final Assessment results in official certification as a Face Yoga Teacher, enabling graduates to teach Face Yoga and conduct their own classes. However, this certification does not permit Teacher Certification Course Graduates to certify others.
Workshop Guidelines

Fumiko or a TCC Coach will hold live webinars to help you along your Certification Journey. In order to keep them within the allotted time we have a set of guidelines that we ask you to follow for all live workshops;
* Be sure to review the relevant or corresponding Module videos first as they provide a lot of information.
* Make sure questions are relevant to the topic Fumiko or a TCC Coach is going over.
* Each student is limited to 4 questions per workshop in order to give everyone an opportunity to ask questions.
* Please be thoughtful with your questions and make sure they will benefit everyone.
* If the question is personal, please submit a support ticket via email.
* We encourage students to submit their workshop questions before the event to ensure that they are answered during the live webinar by writing the question to tcc@faceyogamethod.com. If for any given webinar we go over the allotted time, these questions will have priority.
Face Yoga Method

Under no circumstances will you be able to use the Face Yoga Method logo or any of our material unless Face Yoga Method explicitly allows redistribution. The pages with free use marketing materials will be clearly marked. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or cancel orders if we feel that there is any misrepresentation of us or our services.

Reproducing or copying any content from the Face Yoga Method Programs is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, written materials, instructional designs, and program layouts. Graduates of the Teacher Certification Course are not permitted to create, distribute, or offer any products or services that directly replicate the content, methodologies or structure taught in the Face Yoga Method Programs, whether partially or in their entirety.

While graduates are allowed to incorporate "Face Yoga" into their business or company name, the use of "Face Yoga Method" in any form is strictly prohibited, including as part of business names, program titles, or marketing materials. Graduates are encouraged to develop their own unique Face Yoga programs and incorporate the Face Yoga Method poses into their teachings. However, it is essential to maintain the precise pose names as provided in the Face Yoga Method Programs, with the only exception being the translation of these names into other languages, which is permitted.
Community Group Guidelines

Face Yoga Method’s community, like any community, functions best when its users follow a few simple rules. By accessing and/or using the Websites, you agree to comply with these community guidelines (the “Community Guidelines”) and that:
*You will comply with all applicable laws in your use of the Websites and will not use the Websites for any unlawful purpose;
*You will not upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that: infringes any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other proprietary rights of any person or entity; or is defamatory, libelous, indecent, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, invasive of another’s privacy, promotes violence, or contains hate speech (i.e., speech that attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and/or sexual orientation/gender identity; or discloses any sensitive information about another person, including that person’s email address, postal address, phone number, credit card information, or any similar information.
* You will not “stalk,” threaten, or otherwise harass another person;
* You will not spam or use the Websites to engage in any commercial activities;
* If you post any Registered User Content, you will stay on topic;
* You will not access or use the Websites to collect any market research for a competing business;
* You will not impersonate any person or entity or falsely
state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
* You will not interfere with or attempt to interrupt the proper operation of the Websites through the use of any virus, device, information collection or transmission mechanism, software or routine, or access or attempt to gain access to any data, files, or passwords related to the Websites through hacking, password or data mining, or any other means;
*You will not cover, obscure, block, or in any way interfere with any advertisements and/or safety features (e.g., report abuse button) on the Websites;
*You will not use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Websites for any purpose without our express written permission; provided, however, we grant the operators of public search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the public portions of the Websites for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly-available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials;
*You will not take any action that imposes or may impose (in our sole discretion) an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our technical infrastructure; and you will let us know about inappropriate content of which you become aware. If you find something that violates our Community Guidelines, please let us know, and we’ll review it.
Fumiko will occasionally comment and participate in the group but we ask you not to tag her directly or request her response to your questions.
